It is well within my SEOUL!

Wow, I'm making my first blog post in two years, praise the Lord!

It's my JOY to share with you my trip to Seoul, South Korea from January this year! I flew out on New Years Day and was there for the entire month of January reading the entire Bible with a ministry called Christ Our King Ministries. AND cool news!!! I'm excited to tell you that I'm joining in with Bible camp in Seoul again, January 2026! I would love and appreciate your prayers for me as I read the entire Bible again with followers of Christ from Korea and other nations.

Christ Our King is a Bible ministry after God's own heart! I've fallen more in love with God's word through their ministry.

Christ our King has family that pastors a church in Seoul, South Korea, that hosted the Bible camp. For three weeks we read the entire Bible out loud. Koreans and people from other nations joined in. On the weekend we hosted a kid’s Bible camp where we taught Bible stories, poured the love of Christ into the kids, and played a lot of games!

Reading the entire Bible in such a short span of time had its challenges, but the reward was even greater. There’s something so holy about getting away and spending all my time immersed in God’s Word. We also had moments of prayer and worship along with hosting the kid’s camp.

It truly felt like I was on sabbatical, being consecrated and sanctified even deeper in the Lord.

My greatest revelation from reading the entire Bible in those three weeks was Revelation 21:3.

God’s desire is to dwell with his people.

“And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.”

Revelation 21:3

When you read the Bible from cover to cover in such a short amount of time, you truly get a beautiful overview perspective of the Bible as a WHOLE story. God showed me what felt like a summary of the story of the Bible - God desires to dwell with us.

Throughout the Old Testament, you see a repeated promise that God will dwell with his people. Then in Revelation 21:3, you finally see the promise fulfilled, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man.”

The wording in Revelation 21:3, “I will be their God and they will be my people", is repeated throughout the Bible. It’s first mentioned in Genesis 17:7, “And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you.”

Then in Exodus 6:7, “I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.”

Ezekiel 34:24, “And I, the Lord, will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them. I am the Lord; I have spoken.”

Ezekiel 36:28, “You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.”

Jeremiah 30:22, “And you shall be my people, and I will be your God.”

Jeremiah 31:33, “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”

To notice this promised weaved throughout the Old Testament stunned me. I didn't notice it in the New Testament. but guys....! Jesus, IMMANUEL, God with us, finally came! - to make the only WAY to the Father, by his death and resurrection, for us to be with God again. For God to dwell with his people.

God desires to dwell with us.

Only Jesus made the way for us to dwell with God! Thank you JESUS! God is creating for himself a people for himself. He is faithful. He will continue his promise to dwell with us.

The story continues until Jesus come back, finally fulfilling Revelation 21:3, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man."

I don’t know about you, but this gives me immense HOPE! MARANATHA! God LOVES you. His desire is to dwell with you!

Christ our King Ministries’ vision is

to see individuals and families read the Bible with understanding, know the character and nature of the living God, and be restored to the heart of the Father and His promises, purpose, and plans.

In reading the Bible out-loud in community, one full book at a time in one sitting, from cover to cover, we can learn to recognize God’s voice, be conformed to His image, and live in joyful surrender for the kingdom of God and the gospel.

Whether through Bible Reading Camps, overseas outreaches, or local Bible studies, we want to see people read the Bible together, be transformed by the renewing of their minds, and walk out new life in Jesus by applying the truth of Jesus’ Word as the functional authority in every aspect of life through the power of the Holy Spirit in repentance, obedience, and holiness.

You can financially support Christ Our King through Zelle - christourkingministries@gmail.com

Please join in with me in praying that people will come from Seoul and other nations to encounter God through his Word. Pray that people would come and truly behold God who loves them so much that he sent his Son, Jesus, to die for them that they may know Him and dwell with Him.

I'd love your prayers for me personally as well! If you'd like to financially support my 2026 Bible camp in Seoul, here is my Venmo - https://venmo.com/u/savannahdeannphoto
