Making a short post to say HELLO! I'm still in SBS! Well at least for about 5 more weeks (insert gasping emoji)!!! We are currently studying Ezekiel, our last major prophet. Then we have only 9 more books to study.
That's it. My SBS journey is coming to a close soon. It's already bittersweet. This has been the most difficult yet transformative year of my life. I had absolutely no idea what intensely studying the entire Bible for 9 months looked like. There had been a couple times where I thought about seriously leaving the school just because how much time and emotion and learning it required of me. Sometimes my personal life was really hard. But God had me stay, provided finances, reminded me of the WHY of why he called me to do this school, and helped me endure through the tough times, showing me studying the Bible and his heart is worth it. I've definitely learned just because something is hard, I don't need to just quit based on my current circumstances. Tough times come, unexpected life happens, and you get pulled down. But time passes. God creates another day. He gives strength each day for us to continue through our tough circumstances and opens our eyes to see how he's providing us strength to move along through it.
GOD'S FAITHFULNESS, MAN.
Time and time again. God never failed to show up and give me miraculous steps to keep moving along and showed me studying his word is worth the hard work. Looking back at these past nine months, I can say that I am so thankful to God that he walked me each step of the way, and that I've discovered more of who he is through the Bible. I've learned the messages of books I never understood before. There is so much wisdom to gain from the Bible! Oh the riches of the depth of the mystery of God's word! How lovely are his laws and how faithful is his love!
We studied the great book of Isaiah last week. I made a video of the week. Please watch! It shows what life looks like week after week here. A lot a lot a lot and a lot of Bible study. :)
As we are finishing up the last bits of the Bible we have left to study, I will start the looking back process. I am excited to start processing the ways God has transformed my heart, mind, and worldview through his word.
Please pray for me to finish my studies strong with Ezekiel, Daniel, Haggai, Zechariah, Nehemiah, Ezra, Esther, 1 & 2 Chronicles, Malachi, and Matthew. I am believing each book will continue to work together to tie together the beautiful bow that is the whole of the message of the Bible. I can't wait to see it all tie together. There is much anticipation!
Please pray that God will continue to show me what is next after SBS. I am excited to say I will be home for sure for the summer. Tennessee will be surely anticipated as a glorious rest time after I graduate.
THANK YOU for all of your love and encouragement and prayers for me. GOD BLESS YOU!
